Walker Edison Warranty Policy

  1. Standard Warranty Coverage
     
    Fireplaces Inserts and Electric Desk Components include a 1-year limited manufacturer warranty against defects in materials or workmanship beginning on the date the product is received by the customer.
     
    All Other Products (Furniture, Storage, Decor, General Home Goods): These products include an Out-of-Box (OOB) limited warranty, which provides coverage for missing, damaged, or defective parts discovered upon opening the packaging or during the initial assembly process.

  2. Replacement Parts Coverage
     
    We provide no-cost replacement parts for components that are:
    •       Missing from the original packaging,
    •       Damaged upon opening, or
    •       Found to be defective during initial assembly, when the issue is reported within the applicable warranty timeframe and supported with reasonable proof (e.g., photos, order information, description of issue).
     
    Coverage does not apply to:
    •       Damage occurring after assembly is completed,
    •       Damage caused by misuse, accidents, or improper installation,
    •       Unauthorized repairs or alterations,
    •       Damage caused by hazards such as flooding, fire, or natural disaster.

    Replacement parts are supplied only when the product and use meet normal residential conditions as outlined in product documentation.

  3. Warranty Limitations and Exclusions
     
    The following are not covered under this policy:
    •       Mis assembly, abuse, misuse, improper installation, or unauthorized modifications
    •       Damage occurring after initial assembly
    •       Items sold as “closeout,” “final sale,” or “discontinued” 
    •       Commercial or industrial use, unless explicitly included by contract
    •       Damage caused by natural disasters, fire, flooding, or environmental hazards
    •       Consequential or incidental damages (unless prohibited by state law)
     
    Some jurisdictions do not allow exclusion or limitation of incidental or consequential damages; therefore, these limitations may not apply to all customers.

  4. Company Remedies
     
    The Company may satisfy its warranty obligation using one of the following remedies, at its sole discretion:
    1.      Replacement Part
    Supply a no-cost replacement part to resolve the defect.
    2.      Full-Unit Replacement
    Provided only when a required part is unavailable, when multiple failures occur, or when a replacement part cannot reasonably restore the product to expected condition.
    3.      Refund or Credit
    In limited circumstances, the Company may refund up to the wholesale value of the defective part or unit or issue a website credit (for Walker Edison products) if no replacement inventory exists.
    The warranty does not cover labor, installation, transportation, or related costs.

  5. Non-Transferability
    This warranty is made solely to the original purchaser and is non-transferable, except where prohibited by applicable law.
     
  6. Legal Rights Notice
    This warranty provides specific legal rights. Customers may have additional rights that vary by state or jurisdiction. No other warranties, express or implied, exist beyond what is stated herein, except where restricted by law.

Return Policy

Return Eligibility
•    Returns are accepted within 30 days of delivery.
•    Items must be unopened, unassembled, and in their original packaging.
•    Assembled products, final-sale items, and closeout items cannot be returned unless defective or damaged.
 
Return Fees- For returns not due to damaged, defective, or incorrectly shipped items:
•    A $50 flat fee, and 10% restocking fee will be deducted from the refund per item.
•    If shipping charges (Shipping Fee) were paid by the customer at the time of purchase, they are non-refundable, unless the item was defective, damaged, or incorrectly shipped.
•    Refund Processing: Refunds are issued to the original form of payment
